Chemical Laboratory Assistant in permafrost research at the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI) in Potsdam, Germany
Background:
AWI offer qualified training in our company, which has received multiple awards from the IHK, and are looking for motivated and enthusiastic trainees to become chemical laboratory technicians (m/f/d) for our permafrost research area from August 2024.
Tasks:
- Analyzes of soil, water, ice and lake sediment samples at the AWI
- Support of all laboratory processes and laboratory organization
You should bring this with you:
- Successfully completed school education (at least secondary school leaving certificate)
- Good to very good performance in the natural sciences and in mathematics, German and English
- Technical interest and basic computer knowledge
Location: Potsdam, part of the practical training and the theoretical training takes place in Berlin (bbz Chemie, Berlin-Adlershof, and OSZ Lise-Meitner, Berlin-Neukölln).
