Job Description & Position Requirements:

The Department of Geosciences is looking for a Part-Time research assistant to help setup and conduct physical laboratory experiments of landscape change. Experiments may be related to river delta growth, channel networks, and/or permafrost bank erosion. Duties include moving/shoveling sediment, construction of experimental apparatus/hardware, mounting equipment (e.g., cameras), setup and calibration of experimental equipment (e.g., pumps), assisting starting and monitoring experiments while running, and data analysis.
